CareersOn Maine job sites since 1988
Woods Excavating builds sitework and infrastructure in Southern Maine from our headquarters in Gorham. We perform the full scope of the work for municipalities, water and sewer districts, general contractors, developers, and private owners: clearing and mass excavation; roads and subdivisions; water, sewer, and storm drainage; foundations and building pads; ledge removal and on-site processing; demolition; landfill and regulated-site earthwork; and commercial and public site packages.
We self-perform the work with our own excavators, trucks, and crushing and screening equipment, and we supply the aggregate from our two pits in Standish and Buxton. We carry the bonding public work requires. We have served as general contractor on state facility projects. Our foremen run their jobs from the field, in the towns where most of our crew live.
